This Privacy Policy explains how AppScout handles information when you use the app.

AppScout is designed to work locally on your device and to fetch your app metrics directly from Apple's App Store Connect API. AppScout does not currently run a developer-operated backend service.

Information You Provide

AppScout asks you to enter App Store Connect API key details so the app can request Sales Reports from Apple on your behalf. This can include:

• Issuer ID.
• Key ID.
• Vendor Number.
• Private key file name.
• Private key contents.

AppScout also stores app preferences you choose in the app, such as selected apps, selected metrics, dismissed notices, and similar local settings.

If you contact the developer by email, your email address, message contents, and any information you choose to include are handled by the email services used to send and receive that message.

Information AppScout Receives From Apple

After setup, AppScout uses your App Store Connect API key to fetch information from Apple, including:

• App names, app IDs, and bundle IDs.
• App SKUs and the identifiers needed to match reports to your apps.
• App sales reports for the apps you choose to view.
• Metrics such as downloads, revenue, and refunds.
• Sales report dates, countries or regions, devices, product types, subscription or in-app purchase names, units, prices, proceeds, refunds, and currencies.
• App icon information from Apple's public lookup and artwork services.
